55, Port Medway, Queens County, formerly of LaHave, Lunenburg
County, passed away, March 10, 2005 in South Shore Regional Hospital,
Bridgewater. Born in Grand Barachois, NB, he was a son of Irene (Gagnon)
Leger, Shediac, NB and the late Raymond Leger. He grew up in Bridgewater
where he attended and graduated from Bridgewater High School. During
his working career, he worked as an air traffic controller in Gander
and Ottawa; manager for Bank of America in Halifax and Dartmouth; loans
manager for Bank of N.S.; business manager for Halifax Chrysler Dodge,
he was owner and operator of South Shore Excavation in Martins Brook,
Lunenburg County. Surviving are his wife Susan (Ells); sister, Giselle
Leger, St. John, NB; brother, Jean Paul (Louise MacLean)Leger, Rhode
Island. Visitation 2-5 p.m. Sunday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater.
Funeral 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Ste. Henri de Barachois Roman Catholic
Church, Grand Barachois, NB, Father Guy Legendre officiating. Burial
will be held at a later date in the Parish Cemetery. Family flowers
only, donations may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation, Terry
