David Allen MacKay

Of Dartmouth (formerly of Union Square) passed away on 16 March 2005 at home. He was born January 25, 1956, the son of Shirley and the late Ira MacKay of Union Square. He worked for the Department of Tourism as an accountant since 1980. Surviving along with his mother are brothers John (Debby) of Upper Northfield, Larry (Cheryl) Union Square, Richard, Barss Corner and Sister Paulette (Scott Sarty), Maitland; nieces Heather (Peter Gatza), Julie (Kelly Soanes), Terese (Neil Silver), Melanie MacKay, nephews Matthew MacKay and Tanner MacKay and grandnieces Kaitlyn and Victoria Gatza. He was predeceased by his father Ira and sister Susan (Paul Sears). No flowers by request of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation through Sweeny’s Funeral Home in Bridgewater. Private burial by request of the family.
