Cecil Theodore Richards

81, of West LaHave passed away January 12, 2005 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in LaHave Islands, he was a son of the late Joseph and Devilla (Bush) Richards. He was a veteran of the Second World War serving in the Navy. He is a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 24, Bridgewater. He is survived by his wife the former Maisie Publicover; daughters Marilyn Romkey, Riverport; Glenda Llewellyn, Hebbs Cross; Pamela (Byron) Long; Wardsville, ON; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers Melvin, LeRoy; a sister Marion Bush; granddaughter Treena Romkey. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. A memorial service will be held 2 pm Saturday in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater, with Ms. Nancy Ritchie officiating. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery, West Dublin.
