91, of Chelsea, Lunenburg County, passed away October 8, 2005 at Arborstone Enhanced Care, Halifax. Born in Chelsea, she was a daughter of the late Wallace and Alice (Oickle) Mailman. She is survived by son in law, Richard Oakes, Chelsea; great grandson, Kyle Oakes, Chester Basin. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilbert; daughter, Beulah Oakes; grandson Larry Oakes; sister, Lyda; brother, Irvin. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 11am Wednesday in the Chelsea Baptist Church, Pastor Tom Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Chelsea. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the South Shore Regional Hospital Foundation, Bridgewater or the charity of your choice.
