Barbara Vivian Schnare

87, of Mahone Bay, formerly of Bridgewater, passed away May 7, 2005 in the Mahone Nursing Home, Mahone Bay. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Ora and Margaret (Layes) Haines. She is survived by 2 daughters, Linda (Brian) Grennan, Upper Sackville; Peggy Ann (Ronald) Chase, Barss Corner; a son Sandy (Gwen) Schnare, Barss Corner; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Marjorie Nauss, Sicamous, B.C.. She was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert; brothers, Robert, Bernard and Weldon. A public graveside service will be held 11am Thursday in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater, Father Ron Appleton officiating. There will be no visitation or flowers by request. Memorial donations may be made to the Bridgewater Inter Church Food Bank, Mahone Nursing Home Van Fund or the charity of your choice.
