Marjorie Orene Hirtle Selig

78, LaHave Islands, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Friday, June 24, 2005 in Harbour View Haven Nursing Home, where she had been residing. Born in LaHave Islands, she was a daughter of the late J. Ralph and Mae (Powers) Hirtle. Surviving are brothers, Mansfield (Eula) Hirtle, West Dublin; Gilbert (Ola) Hirtle; Byron (Dianee) Hirtle, all of Dublin Shore; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister, Izah and Joe Giardino, a brother and two sisters in infancy. Visitation will be 7 – 9 p.m. Monday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Memorial service 1 p.m. Tuesday from Knox Presbyterian Church, Dublin Shore. Rev. Kenneth Wild officiating. Burial to follow in Bell Island Cemetery, Bell Island.
