Elsie Willahmina Smith

85, Of Whynotts Settlement, formerly of Spanish Ship Bay, Guysborough County, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Wilson’s Cove, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Mary (Hemlow) Wilson. Surviving are a daughter, Beverly King, Whynotts Settlement; sons, Gerald (Diane) Smith, Gatez Brook; Gary Smith, East Dover. Grandchildren, David (Beverley) King and family, Melonie (Darrin) Swinimer and family, Michelle (Tony) Mailman and family, Cheryl (Dean) Landry, Darrin Smith, Donna; Heather Smith and their families. Several great grandchildren. Brothers, Kenneth (Clare), Newfoundland; sister, Greta, Wilson’s Cove; Helen, Ottawa. She was predeceased by husband, Murray, son, Donald. In keeping with Elsie’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. No flowers by request, donations to Nova Scotia Lung Association.
