Lester Leander Wamboldt

83, Cherry Hill, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at Queens General Hospital, Liverpool. Born in East Port Medway, he was a son of the late Artie and Carrie (Tarr) Wamboldt. He is the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was a veteran of the second world war, serving overseas as a rifleman with the Queens Own Rifles. Surviving are his daughter, Cheryl (Michael) Langille, Voglers Cove; son, Kevin, Cherry Hill. Grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeffery, Alecia, Kyle. He was predeceased by his wife the former Bernice Conrad; brothers, Fred, Harry; sisters, Winnifred Thomas. Visitation, 7-9 p.m. Thursday, funeral 1:30 p.m. Friday both in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater. Rev. Wayne Mitton officiating. Interment to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
