Mary E. Barry

Of Mahone Nursing Home, Mahone Bay, formerly of Bridgewater passed away peacefully January 30, 2006, at the nursing home. Born on September 17, 1916 in Charlesville, she was a daughter of the late Hallet and Alva (Hubbard) Crowell. She is survived by her sisters, Eileen Paul, Vida Hamilton, Geraldine Barr, Leona Royale, Theresa Galbreath; nephew, Gary (Kathy) Crowell. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur; brothers, Arnold, Keith, Freeland; sister, Dora Barkhouse. A public graveside service will be held 11am Friday in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater, Rev Ivan Norton officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, 71 Ilsley Ave., Unit 12, Dartmouth, NS, B3B 1L5 or the charity of your choice.
