Ralph William Corkum

83, Bridgewater, Lunenburg County, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2006, in Q.E. II Health Sciences Centre, Infirmary Site, Halifax. Born in Conquerall Bank, he was a son of the late Milton and Clara (Rafuse) Corkum. He was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater; Royal Canadian Legion, branch 24, Bridgewater. Surviving are his wife the former Grace (Carver); sisters, Mildred Everett, Newcombville; Elaine Knock, Hebbs Cross; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter in infancy; brother, Enos Corkum. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. Friday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, where a public Legion tribute service will be at 7 p.m. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater, Rev. Ron Appleton officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only, donations to Holy Trinity Anglican Church or charity of choice.
