Simeon Wilbert Cross

90, Conquerall Mills, Lunenburg County, passed away on Friday, June 09, 2006 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Conquerall Mills, he was a son of the late Jason and Blanche (Stewart) Cross. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was employed by the Gypsum and Company, Hantsport, sailing to many port around the world, he also worked 15 years in the fisheries. Surviving are his son, Clarence, Conquerall Mills; grandchildren, Amie, Kristina, Erica, Jason, Amanda, Melissa; great grandchildren, Cody, Alyssa. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Nellie Letitia Cross; sons, Wilbert, Gordon; brothers, Perry, Clarence. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Memorial service 11 a.m. Monday, in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater. Rev. Laurence Mawhinney officiating, burial to follow in St. Matthew’s Presbyterian Cemetery, Conquerall Mills. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of choice.
