Clarke Irving Edwards

86, Hebbs Cross, Lunenburg County, passed away, Tuesday, October 10, 2006 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Hebbs Cross, he was a son of the late Clarence and Hattie (Lacey) Edwards. He was a member of Hebbs Cross Fire Department, serving for 35 years. Prior to retirement, he was employed as a mechanic at Rafuse Motors, Bridgewater. Surviving are sons, Harry (Evelyn); Earl (Merna), all of Hebbs Cross; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by great granddaughter, Kaley Rose. Visitation, 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral 1:30 p.m. Friday in New Life Christian Church, Bridgewater. Pastor Jim McGinnis and Pastor James Haughn, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Matthew’s Presbyterian Cemetery, Conquerall Mills.
