Mabel Avernia Blanche Hebb
88,
of Hebbville, Lunenburg County, passed away June 2, 2006 in the South
Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born on September 1, 1917 in Pine
Grove, she was the daughter of the late Ozem B. and Lilla Mae (Langille)
Mader. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She
is survived by daughters, Shirley (Alden) Killen, Dartmouth; Betty Dorey,
Cookville; Dianne (Raymond) Thompson, Midville Branch; Judy (Lloyd)
MacHattie, Porters Lake; sons, Lorraine (Amy), Midville Branch; Frank
(Agnes), Brantford, Ont.; Raymond, at home; 17 grandchildren; 16 great
grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her
husband, Lawrence T.; infant twins; brothers, Otto (Arleen) Mader; Carl
(Phyllis) Mader; half brother, Charles (Greta) Lohnes; son in law, Merle
Dorey. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 4pm in Sweeny’s
Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 11am Monday
in the Bridgewater United Baptist Church, Rev Eric Campbell officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hebbville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial
donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, N. S. Diabetic
Association, Hebbville Cemetery Fund or the charity of your choice.
