George Salem Thompson

60, West Clifford, Lunenburg County, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2006 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in West Clifford, he was a son of the late Avard and Lyda (Mailman) Thompson. He is survived by a brother, John (Shirley), West Clifford; sisters, Julie (Carson) Welsh, East LaHave; Shirley Joudrey, Bridgewater; Barbara (Leslie) Mason, First South; sister-law, June Day, West Clifford; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Victor. No visitation at the funeral home by request. A public graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Baker Settlement Cemetery, Baker Settlement, Rev. Ivan Norton officiating. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Baker Settlement Cemetery Fund or charity of choice.
