Louis Johannes Van Liempt

66 Passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 2, 2006 in Bridgewater, NS, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born Amsterdam, Netherlands 1940. Formerly of Alberta. Louis leaves his loving wife, Susan, sons Andrew (Judy), Sean (Chadrick), Richard, Geoffrey (Andrea) and Michael-John (Ruth), grandchildren Devin, Sarah, Cage, Katie, Cassie, Christopher, Colin, Carlianna and baby-to-be, brothers Henk (Carla) and Carel (Jope), sisters Anneke and Mary (Leen), sister-in-law Deborah (Bob), brother-in-law Terry (Shirley) and many nieces and nephews in the Netherlands and Canada. We’ll all miss Louis’ smile, his spirit, his laugh and his wonderful cooking! Celebration of Louis’ life at 1 pm on 6 December at the “Llama Farm,” 161 East Dalhousie Road (Alberta and Netherlands services to be announced). Donations in lieu of flowers to “The Lodge That Gives” in Halifax.
