Gerald Ray Arenburg

76, Springfield, Hastings Road. It is with deep regret to announce the passing of a wonderful husband, dad and brother on December 24, 2007 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater with family by his side. Born in Hastings, he was a son of the late Percy and Annie (Acker) Arenburg of Springfield. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, the former Doris Sproule, Springfield; daughter, Gloria (Delbert) Robar, Springfield; son, Raymond at home; grandchildren, Tina (Kevin) Carver, Walden; Tanya (Shawn) Henderson, Italy Cross, Justin Arenburg, New Germany, Brandon Wentzell, Bridgewater; great grandchildren, Robert and Shawna Henderson; brother, Maurice Arenburg, Springfield. He was predeceased by a son, Dale. Arrangements entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, New Germany. No visitation, funeral service or flowers by request. Private family interment will take place at a later date. Donations may be made to Springfield Baptist Church or Cemetery fund.
