Upper New Cornwall, Lunenburg County, passed away, Sunday, April 22,
2007 in Shoreham Village Nursing Home, Chester where she had been residing.
She was the daughter of the late John and Blanche (Joudrey) Nauss. She
was a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Union Square, where
she was a member and past president of the guild; member of the Good
Will Sewing Circle; Cornwall and District Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary;
prior to retirement, she was a quilter for Suttles and Seawinds. Surviving
are her son, John (Linda) Mordeen, Windsor Road; Alan (Stephanie) Mordeen,
Wireton, Ontario; daughter, Robin (Keith) Wentzell, Lower Branch; sisters,
Marie (Douglas) Richardson, Mahone Bay; Pauline MacLean, Vera (Bob)
Dixon Bower, all of Bridgewater. Grandchildren, Jeff (Amanda) Mordeen,
Deep Cove, Shane, Cory, Joseph, Shannon, Axel; several great grandchildren,
nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her her first husband, Axel
Mordeen, second husband, Frank Fancy; sisters, Beatrice Robar, Janet
MacKay, two in infancy; brothers, Jack Joudrey, Ray Nauss, Carroll Nauss,
one in infancy. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. today (Tuesday) in Sweeny’s
Funeral Home, #4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral 2 p.m., Wednesday
in St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Rev. Anna Hoeg officiating. Burial
will follow in Union Square Cemetery, Union Square. Family flowers only.
