Helen Eleoise Himmelman

90, of West LaHave passed away February 14, 2007 in the Hillside Pines Home for Special Care, Bridgewater. Born in Crescent Beach, she was a daughter of the late Jacob W. and Maude (Kenyon) Romkey. She was a member of Emerald Rebecca Lodge # 66 in West Dublin. She was a retired teacher, having taught in several schools in Lunenburg County for over 30 years. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by sister-in-law, Goldie Romkey, West LaHave; niece, Carole (Doug) Bolivar, West LaHave; nephew, Bill (Jean) Romkey, Halifax. She was predeceased by her husband, Berlin; sister, Florence; brother, William. Visitation will be held Monday from 1pm until funeral time at 2pm in St. Matthews Presbyterian Church, West Dublin, Rev. Lawrence Mawhinney officiating. Burial will be in the Romkey Cemetery, Crescent Beach. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to St. Matthews Presbyterian Church, West Dublin, Hillside Pines Home for Special Care, Bridgewater or any charity of your choice
