Doris Marie Hirtle

89, of East River passed away peacefully on October 15, 2007 at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Halifax she was the daughter of the late Captain Louis and Marie Ann (Winters) Dicks. She was predeceased by her husband William; brother Herbert and sister-in-law Hilda. She is survived by her sister Shirley Dicks, Halifax; special sister-in-laws Noreen Hirtle, Dayspring NS and Barbara Chamness, Revere Mass. USA; several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place; there will be no visitation. A public graveside service will be held 11am Thursday in the Dayspring Cemetery, Rev. James Haughn officiating.
