Percy Albert Hubley

55, Pinehurst, Lunenburg County, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Farmington, he was a son of the late Maurice and Marjorie (Robar) Hubley. He was owner and operator of Hubley’s Tires and Towing, Pinehurst and was a member of CAA. Percy enjoyed the outdoors, especially, hunting, fishing, four-wheeling and spending time at the cabin. He was a past member of Lunenburg County Ground Search and Rescue. Surviving are his wife, the former Susan Walsh; son, Steven (Katherine), Maitland; daughters, Jennifer (Scott) Lowe, Stonehurst; Stephanie (Dave) Babiak, Ontario; grandchildren, Samantha Robar, Cody Lowe, Corey Babiak, Ashlyn Babiak. Sisters, Rochelle (Pat) Bellemere, Halifax; brothers, Farrell (Jeanette), Ontario; Wade (Marilyn), Kingston; Brian (Brenda), Timberlea; Sheldon, Halifax; Chris (Leanne), Farmington; niece Sherri-Lynn Alan and several other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Brian and Wayne. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. Friday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany, where funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday. Rev. Catherine Robar officiating. Private family interment will follow in the Barss Corner Community Cemetery, Barss Corner. Immediate family flowers only, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or South Shore Regional Hospital Cancer Treatment or Palliative Care Services.
