Walter Merril Knickle

81, of Maitland, Lunenburg County, passed away December 24, 2007 in the Arborstone Enhanced Care, Halifax. Born in Martins Brook, he was a son of the late Ernest and Hilda (Thompson) Knickle. He is survived by his children, Tom (Lorraine), Bridgetown; Terry (Sheila), Bridgewater; Norman (Karen), Dartmouth; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; brothers, Byron, Auburndale; Arnold, Blockhouse; Harry, USA; sisters, Mildred and Marguerite, Halifax. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret (Barry); 2 brothers, and 2 sisters. Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 2pm Friday in Christ Anglican Church, Maitland, Rev Ian Wissler officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater or charity of your choice.
