Thelma Ruth MacPherson

94, Parkdale, Lunenburg County, passed away, Tuesday, December 11, 2007 in Shoreham Village Nursing Home, Chester, where she had been residing. Born in Parkdale, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Mabel (Saunders) Frank. She was a member of Parkdale Emmanuel United Baptist Church, and was involved in various community groups and organizations during her active years. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are her daughter in law, Susan MacPherson, granddaughter, Tammy MacPherson, grandson, Terry MacPherson, all of Simpsons Corner; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Danny; son, Barry; sisters, Florence Kelly, Laura Collicutt; brother, Carl Frank. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. Wednesday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral 2 p.m. Thursday in Emmanuel United Baptist Church, Parkdale, Rev. Jennifer Joudrey officiating. Burial will follow in Parkdale Community Cemetery, Parkdale.
