Olive May Richards
87, of Pleasantville, Lunenburg County, passed away peacefully March
18, 2007 in the Mahone Nursing Home, Mahone Bay. Born February 23, 1920,
she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Martha Hubley. She was the
last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by sons,
David (Marion), Broad Cove; Earle (Carolyn), Mahone Bay; Gary (Susan),
Pleasantville; grandchildren, Jonathan (Roslyn), Stefan (Andrea), Scott
(Christina), Amie (Chad Haughn), Sarah Richards; great grandson, Parker;
sisters-in-law, Anna Hubley, Elenor (Gordon Wicks); several nieces and
nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Clyde Richards; sisters,
Helen, Hazel, Mildred, Edith; brothers, Harold, Lloyd, Jason, Robert.
Visitation will be held Monday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral
Home, Bridgewater and from where funeral service will be held 2pm Tuesday,
Rev Doug Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasantville
Cemetery. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations
may be made to Shaid Animal Shelter or the charity of your choice. Online
