Douglas Earl Selig

70, Wileville, Lunenburg County, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2007 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Artemus and Dorothy (Fraser) Selig. Surviving are his wife the former, Elizabeth Herman; daughter, Karen (Steve Maughan), New Germany; son, Kevin, Wileville; grandchildren, Crystal Hirtle, Bobby and Marcus Selig, Stephen Dykin; sisters, Remona Robar, Clearland; Norma (Howard) Fahie, Blockhouse; brother, Carroll (Marina), Halifax; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by son, John; sisters, Elnora Nowe, Joan Rhodenizer, Evelyn Selig; brother, Paul; sister, Kathleen in infancy. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. Friday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, where funeral will be at 10 a.m., Saturday. Pastor Glen Corkum officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasantville Cemetery, Pleasantville. Family flowers only, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice.
