Parker Nepean Tufts
82, Lake Pleasant, Annapolis County, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2007 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Lake Pleasant, he was a son of the late Primrose and Minnie (Whynot) Tufts. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, the former Lois Oickle; sons, Eugene, Lake Pleasant; Kenneth, Falkland Ridge; granddaughter, Tiffany McLeod, New Germany; great grandson, Damian John Kenneth Robar; nephews, Reggie and Brian Villeneuve, Digby. He was predeceased by his sister, Iona Oakley. Visitation 7–9 p.m. Monday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Springfield United Baptist Church, Springfield. Rev. Robert Gates officiating. Family interment will follow in the church cemetery.
