Ruth A. Weldon

84, of Branch LaHave, Lunenburg County, passed away December 14, 2007, in the Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg. Born in Baker Settlement, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Ida M. (Bolivar) Hirtle. She is survive by her husband, Donald; sons, Terry (Ina), Branch LaHave; George, Bridgewater; grandchildren, Christine (Bryce) Veinotte, Lower Northfield; Annette (Stephen) Spindler, Lower LaHave; Andrew (Alexandra) Weldon, Bridgewater; Shea-Lynn Weldon, NB; Ceilidh Weldon, NB; great grandchildren, Alexander and Bronson Veinotte; Liam Spindler and Andrew “Drew” Weldon. She was predeceased by 7 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held Monday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where funeral service will be held 2pm Tuesday, Rev William Gustafson officiating. Private family burial will follow in St James Lutheran Church Cemetery, Branch LaHave. Immediate family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Charity of your choice.
