Robert Wallace Clattenburg

68, Springfield, Annapolis County, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2008 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, surrounded by his family and friends. Born in Falkland Ridge, he was a son of the late Robert and Marion (Wagner) Clattenburg. In his younger years, he worked in the woods with his Dad. He also worked for a short time in construction in Halifax and later worked at the Victoria General Hospital for over 30 years, until his retirement. He is survived by sisters, Lucille Mailman, North Brookfield; Margaret Jenkins, Ottawa; Pauline (Donald) Hudson, Springfield; Annie (Clifford) Robar, East Dalhousie; brothers, Donald, Dartmouth; Ronald, Springfield; several nieces and nephews. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Service 1 p.m. Wednesday in Springfield United Baptist Church, Springfield. Rev. Robert Gates officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Family flowers only, donations may be made to Springfield United Baptist Church.
