Gladys Evelyn Conrad

93, Bridgewater, Lunenburg County, passed away on March 5, 2008 at North Queen’s Nursing Home, Caledonia, after a brief illness. Left to mourn her passing are son, David (Carol Ann), Dartmouth; grandson, Paul, Barrie, ON; granddaughter, Treena Conrad – McMahan, Austin, Texas, great granddaughter, Shayla Conrad, Moncton; great grandsons, Christian and Oliver McMahan, Austin, Texas; sister, Marjorie Publicover, Bridgewater. She was predeceased by husband, Lawrence and several brothers and sisters. Gladys was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and ladies aid, for many years. She was a past member of the ladies curling club and the Senior’s Club. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. Funeral 11 a.m., Monday in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater with Rev. Paul Jensen officiating. A private family burial will take place in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater with a public reception to follow at St. Paul’s Hall. Family flowers only, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Alzheimer Society or St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
