Harold James Cook

82, Bridgewater, Lunenburg County, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2008 in the Veteran’s Unit of Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Lower Branch, he was a son of the late Ellard and Eva (Murray) Cook. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, branch 24, Bridgewater; Honorary member of the Bridgewater Fire Department. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are his wife, Helen Ruth (Wagner); daughters, Carolyn, Michele, both of Bridgewater; grandson, Evan; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Carrie Joudrey; brothers, Bert, Lloyd, Roy. Jessen, Leo, Lennie. No visitation at the funeral home by request. A public graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Rev. Willis Ott officiating. No flowers by request, donations to Veteran’s Unit Van Fund of Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital or charity of choice.
