Elva Mae Corkun

92, Bridgewater, Lunenburg County, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2008 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Chelsea, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Evelyn (Robar) Weagle. She was an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater. Surviving are her son, Everett (Sharon) Corkum, Oakhill; grandson, Darren (Becky) Corkum; great grandsons, James and Maxwell Corkum, all of Hantsport. She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd; brother, Vernon; sisters, Maude, Mary and Annie. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. Tuesday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater, Rev. Paul Jensen officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater.
