Anita Lavinia Crowe

97 of Bridgewater, passed away Monday July 7, 2008 in the Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Middleton, Kings County. Born in Sable River she was the daughter of the late Roland and Lina (Robart) Rhodenizer. Anita was a member of the Bridgewater United Baptist Church and the churches Ladies Group. She was also an accomplished musician having composed songs and having them recorded. Anita enjoyed poetry, needle point and crocheting. She is survived by her daughters Myrna Townsend, Middleton and Marilyn (Roland) Eddy, Halifax; brother Stanford Rhodenizer, Dayspring; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson along with several nieces and nephews. Anita was predeceased by her husband Clarence; sisters Ines, Lina, Leona, Faye, Doris and Nedra; brothers Arthur, Neil and Shirley; son in law Lloyd Townsend. Visitation will be held 7 to 9 PM Thursday July 10th in C.F. Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. The Funeral service will be held 2PM Friday July 11th in the Bridgewater Untied Baptist Church, King Street Bridgewater, Rev. Lloyd Gillieo officiating. A private family burial will follow the service in the Dayspring Cemetery. Family Flowers only, please.
