Maude Lillian Hall

Of New Germany, Lunenburg County, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 in her 88th year at the Rosedale Home for Special Care, where she had been residing. Born in Hampton, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Florence (Clayton) Chute. She was a member of Epworth United Church, New Germany. Surviving are her sister, Ida, Bridgetown; sons, Carl, New Germany; Louise (Douglas), St. Catharines; Rodney (Louise), Keddy Cove and Mexico; Barry (Kay), Australia; Alan (Arthur), Toronto; six grandchildren, Sean and Rodney Hall, Nova Scotia, Tammy, Newfoundland, Lory, Scott and Stephen, Ontario; seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Joe (1981), grandchildren, Geoffrey (1992), Kirsty (2001). Visitation, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral 2 p.m., Saturday in Epworth United Church. Rev. Joan Conrad officiating. Private family burial will follow in Epworth Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Epworth United Church. Appreciation is extended to the staff of Rosedale Home for their care over the past five years.
