Paul Eldred Lohnes

79, Watford, Lunenburg County, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Oswald and Sadie (Levy) Lohnes. He was a mechanic and a laborer and enjoyed playing cards. Surviving are his companion, Vivian Robar, Watford; Daughters, Diane (Gerhart) Lenihan, Paulette (Gerald) Lenihan, both of New Ross; Karen (Karl) Knickle, Hebbs Cross; son, David (Beatrice), Cookville; sisters, Marguerite Lyons, New Canada; Linda (Charles) Horstman, Bridgewater; brother, Beverly (Helen), Enfield; former wife, Ruby (Croft) Lohnes; 3 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Theodore and brother, Ira. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany and where service will be 11 a.m. Monday. Rev. Larry Ehrhardt officiating. Burial will follow in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, New Germany.
