Anoinette Julia Meisner

98, Stanley Section, Lunenburg County, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2008 in the Q.E. II Hospital, Infirmary Site, Halifax. Born at the family homestead in Chelsea on November 6, 1909, she was a daughter of Albert and Lydia (MacKay) Heim. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Germany. She was a retired school teacher, having been educated in Chelsea at the miscellaneous school and then later attended Teacher’s College in Truro; having taught in several schools in Nova Scotia. She was the last of her immediate family, surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Stuart Lorraine in 1995; sisters, Jessie, Vina, Mabel; brothers, Zola, James, Maurice, Willis, Bernal, Arnold, Orace, Anzel. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Funeral service 2 p.m., Monday in Trinity Lutheran Church, New Germany. Rev. Larry Ehrhardt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family flowers only, donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or charity of choice.
