Evelyn Pauline Nauss

95, Of New Germany, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2008 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Watford, she was a daughter of the late Truman and Nina (Zinck) Veinot. She was educated as a teacher, having taught in many one room school houses and later finishing her career and retiring at West Northfield Elementary School, West Northfield. She was a member of Epworth United Church, New Germany. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are her daughter, Alice (Jerry) Rafuse, Parkdale; step daughter, Bonnie (Orie) Wentzell, New Germany; sons, Quentin (Arlene) Moore, Halifax; Victor (Marilyn) Moore, New Germany; grandchildren, David, Carson, Kevin, Cathy; Vance, Ruth, Kim; Julie; Amy, Aaron, Arden; step grandchildren, Graham, Trudy, Dwaine; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Alexander Nauss; sons, Sherman, Lewis; sisters, Grace Hampton, Alice Beck; brothers, Albert, Earl, Clarence, Richard and Joseph; grandson, Richard. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. Monday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral 2 p.m., Tuesday in Epworth United Church. Rev. Joan Conrad officiating.
