Douglas Wayne Parsons

63 Of Colpton, Lunenburg Co., passed away May 6, 2008 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Saint Hyacinthe, Que, he was the son of the late Charles and Doris (Lacey) Parsons. Prior to retiring to Nova Scotia, Douglas was employed as an accountant in Toronto and in sales in Edmonton. He is survived by his daughter, Kimberley (Shawn), Colpton; brothers, Charles (Judy), St. Thomas, Ont.; Terrence (Judy), Sydney Mines; twin sister, Dawn, Toronto; grandchildren, Jordan, Joshua, and Ashley all of Colpton; former wife, Diane Hill, Halifax; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Douglas Wayne Parsons Jr. There will be a private memorial service at the family residence at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Lung Association.
