Basil Glenwood Slauenwhite

69, Vogler’s Cove, Lunenburg County, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at home. Born in Liverpool, he was a son of the late Roy and Lois (Slauenwhite) Slauenwhite. Prior to retirement, he was an apple picker, scallop fisherman, woodsman and worked for R.E. Newell’s Fish Plant. Surviving are his daughters, Annette Slauenwhite, New Germany; Rosemary Slauenwhite, Hebbville; sons, Michael, Western Canada; James, Halifax; Adam, Lunenburg; Cory (Noelle Schnare), Bridgewater; Sandy; Terry; sister, Teresa McCarthy, Vogler’s Cove; grandchildren, Michael Jr., Jacob, Selina, Tony, Samantha, Cody, Nicholas, Brooklyn Nevaeh, Preston; two nieces; great nieces and nephews, Tina and Lee Slauenwhite. He was predeceased by sister, Mary Slauenwhite. Visitation 7 – 9 p.m. Monday and where funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Rev. Ivan Norton officiating.
