Ruth Annabelle Veinot

71, New Germany, passed away, Tuesday, January 15, 2008 in Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany. Born in North River, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Mary (Sarty) Robar. She resided most of her life in New Albany with husband Vernon and their family. She was a member of the United Baptist Church of New Albany as well as a past choir member. She is survived by husband Vernon, New Germany; sons, Michael (Cathy), Peter, all of Kingston; Mervin, Veinot, Halifax; daughter, Mary (Kevin) Frank, Bridgewater; grandchildren, Kyla and Matthew Veinot, Drew and Delaney Frank; sisters, Esther (Gordon "Joey") Robar, North River; Florence (Merlin) Acker, Bridgewater; Janet (Donald) Doucette, North River; brothers, Marcus Robar, Paul (Judy) Robar, all of North River; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Stanley, in infancy. Visitation will be held 7 – 9 p.m. Friday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Epworth United Church, New Germany, Rev. Joan Conrad officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the New Albany Cemetery.
