W. Grant Falt

92, Bridgewater passed away December 21, 2008 at home. Born in Jordan Falls, Shelburne, he was a son of the late John R. and Addie (Chalmers) Falt. He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas with the Anti Tank Regiment. For many years he owned and operated Seminale Dock and Boat Rental and also Grant’s Marine and Tackle Store in Miami, Florida. He was the last surviving member of his family. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Charlotte (Holden) Falt; brothers, Raymond and George; sisters, Gertrude Grace and Margaret Hipson. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater on Friday, May 15 at 2pm, Rev. Ivan Norton officiating. No flowers or visitation by request.
