Ellen Elizabeth "Dolly" Foley

of Camperdown, Lunenburg County, passed away Friday, August 21, 2009 in
the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Devonshire, Queens
County, she was the daughter of the late John and Bessie (Cashman) Foley.
She was a hard worker and always willing to give a helping hand. She was
a faithful member of the Ladies Aid of Christ Lutheran Church, Camperdown;
a director of the Camperdown Little Red School House and helped with functions
of Lapland and District Fire Department and South Shore Wildlife Association.
Her passion was to pick blueberries and cranberries and to knit socks
and gloves. She will be greatly missed by her five cats that she said
were her “kids”. She will be dearly missed by extended family, Sheila
and Eugene Herman; Dennis and Marjorie Stewart; Wade and Claudette Stewart
and her many friends, especially Judy and Joe Rodgers. She is also survived
by her brother John and family. She was predeceased by her companion Carl
Stewart and cousin Theresa Carver. Visitation will be Monday from 7 to
9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held
2pm Tuesday in Christ Lutheran Church, Camperdown, Rev. Willis Ott officiating.
Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. A reception will follow in
the Camperdown Little Red School House. Family flowers only. In lieu of
flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Christ Lutheran Church,
