Brian Robert Himmelman

66, Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2009 in Harbour View Haven Nursing Home, Lunenburg, where he had been a resident. Born in England, he was a son of Florence Patricia (Smithers) Himmelman, of Harbour View Haven Nursing Home, Lunenburg, formerly of Bridgewater and the late Warren Willis Himmelman. He was an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion, branch 24, Bridgewater. Surviving are his companion, Judy Walters, Blue Rocks; sisters, Patricia “Pam” Bolivar (Oliver Corkum), Bridgewater; Dianne Scott, Halifax; Jane “Valerie” (Wayne) Smith, Broad Cove; Sally Zinck (David), Bridgewater; brothers, Barry “Bubby” (Virginia), Bridgewater; Michael, Dartmouth; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister, Barbara Himmelman. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Service 11 a.m. Thursday, in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater. Rev. Robert Coote officiating.
