81, New Germany, Lunenburg County, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2009 in Northwood Center, Halifax, where she had been residing. Born in New Germany, she was a daughter of the late Melbourne and Mary (Mossman) Leary. She was a member of Epworth United Church, New Germany. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are nieces, Eva Leary, Margaret Weaver, Mona McGillvary, Barbara Lohnes, Emily Ritcey; nephews, William Leary, Chester Weaver, Ricky Leary, Frankie Leary, Ellison Leary, Henry Leary, Renie Leary. She was predeceased by sister, Alice Weaver; brothers, George, Melbourne, Max. Visitation, 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Friday in Epworth United Church, New Germany. Rev. Dale Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Epworth Cemetery.
