Raymond George Stephen Browne

73 of Bridgewater passed away Tuesday 21 September 2010 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Somerset, England he was the son of the late Hilda Mingay. Ray is survived by his wife Liz Browne; daughters Judith Fickes, Bridgewater; Claire & Simon Trussler, Bridgewater; grandchildren Gabrielle Trussler and Robyn Langille along with several nieces and nephews in England. Ray’s dogs, his faithful companions Sammy and Penny, will miss him too. He was predeceased by his sister Rosemary Sellen, England. Visitation will be held 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Sunday September 26th at Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, A memorial service will be held from the funeral home 11:00 A.M. Monday September 27th, Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Family flowers only. Memorial donations in Ray’s memory may be made to the Rose Fund, South Shore Regional Foundation or the charity of choice.
