Conquerall Bank (formerly of Rhodes Corner) passed away Tuesday June 29,
2010 at Ryan Hall (Shannex), Bridgewater with his family by his side.
Marcus was born in Conquerall Bank November 9, 1935 to the late Norman
and Helen (Cross) LeGay. He is survived by his loving wife Nina (Nauss)
of 51 years, daughters Darlene Langille of Walden and Shelley (Brian)
Peeler of Conquerall Bank; 5 grandchildren, Megan (Mike), Alyson (Anthony),
Alyssa, Alexander and Anthony; siblings Rex, Ruth (Ralph) Hebb, Marie
(Carmen) Philpitt, Firman (Maggie), David (Laverne). He was predeceased
by his son-in-law Larry Langille. Marcus was a former employee of Atlantic
Bridge Co. and Grimsby Co. for 18 years and retired from Michelin after
17 years. He was a member of the local chapter of Muscular Dystrophy,
former member of South Shore Blue Grass and a member of Holy Trinity Anglican
Church, Bridgewater. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He also enjoyed yard work, woodworking, camping, horseshoes and washers.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday July 3, 2010 in Holy Trinity
Anglican Church, 78 Alexandra Avenue, Bridgewater at 11:00 A.M., Rev.
Ron Appleton Officiating. Visitation will be held at Sweeny’s Funeral
Home, Bridgewater 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Friday July 2, 2010. Interment will
take place in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Conquerall Bank. Flowers from the immediate
family only, donations to Muscular Dystrophy Canada, Holy Trinity Anglican
Church, Alex Peeler Education Fund or Charity of choice. Online condolances
