90, Pleasantville, passed away August 10, 2010 in the Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg. Born in Middle LaHave on January 20, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Dorothy (Bailey) Shankle. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Haughn, Pleasantville, with whom she resided with for 11 years; grandchildren, Tracey (Kelly) Ernst, Conquerall Bank; Tammy (Jeff) Hiltz, West Northfield; Troy Haughn, Halifax; great grandchildren, Jordan Haughn; Kaitlyn and Katherine Ernst; Nicholas, Logan and Jolie Haughn. She was predeceased by her husband Charles M. Publicover and son in law Wayne R. Haughn. Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday August 14, 2010 in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel Bridgewater, Rev. Laurence Mawhinney officiating with visitation Friday from 7 to 9pm. Private family burial will follow in the Pleasantville Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Pleasantville Fire Hall. Family flowers only.
