Mildred Marie Snyder

91, Chelsea, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Friday, July 16, 2010 in Harbour View Haven Nursing Home, Lunenburg, where she had been residing. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Letitia (Conrad) Barnes. Surviving are her daughters, Cheryl Mansfield, Dartmouth; Margo Snyder, Liverpool; sons, Jim, Jerseyville, Ont; William “Bill”, Len, both of Brantford, Ont; Wayne, Chelsea; 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; sister, Marjorie Oickle; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, James David Snyder; daughters, Wilma Denise in infancy, Melba; son, Philip; grandson, Glen; twin brothers, Albert and Arthur; sister, Effie. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and where funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday. Pastor Angela Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Chelsea. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice.
