87, Waterloo, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at home. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Gordon and Marie (Hubley) Maughan. Surviving are common law wife, Walena Polson; sons, Bruce, Waterloo; Dayle, Lapland; 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; step daughter, Donna Macmillan, Antigonish; step sons, Raymond Murray, Pinehurst; Michael Murray, New Germany; brothers, Walter, Lower Branch; Leo, Bridgewater; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by first wife, Jean (Bruce); son, Johnny Maughan; daughter, Charlene Chittim; brothers, Earl, Willis, Wallace, Fred, Leaman. Visitation, 7-9 p.m., today (Tuesday) in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater and where funeral service will also be 11 a.m. Wednesday. Rev. Willis Ott officiating.
