Joey, Sherrie and Family, so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I remember her well, especially when I had my tonsils out, I was hungry and wanted mashed potatoes, she didn't think that was a good idea, but a little whining helped; she made them and I ate them!

To Phyllis's family I extend my sincere sympathy,
Phyllis was a wonderful community worker and will be missed by so many, but especially by you, the members of her family. She and my mother, Melba Sarty, were great friends and worked together on many projects over the years. On numerous occasions they would visit us at our home in Colby Village when they were attending PC events in Halifax. One is never really ready to say that final, "Good Bye".
Your lives will be forever changed. My sincere hope is that the constant love and concern of your family and friends will be a source of support and encouragement in the coming weeks and months as you begin to learn how to live your lives without this wonderful woman. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the funeral service as I no longer live in Nova Scotia. May God grant to each one of you whatever your hearts need most at this time of sorrow and loss.
